Every life tells a story.
Freddie began his musical education in Augsburg at the age of six. There he learned to play the piano for several years and spent many years in the classical mixed choir.
Eventually, as he grew up, life intervened and his musical ambitions took a back seat for a while.
In 2019, Freddie began training in electronic music production and found his way back to music after more than 30 years. The ensuing pandemic gave him the opportunity to intensively explore this new form of musical expression.
With the help of modern equipment and training as an audio engineer, Freddie expanded his musical repertoire and perfected the sound of his compositions.
His music is characterized by the fusion of sacred, baroque and neoclassical elements with modern electronic sounds. Influenced by composers such as Bach, Bruckner and his love of film music, Freddie’s rather serious music almost always finds a form of redemption or peace in the end.
His compositions are a sonorous journey through the facets of his eventful life, a personal search for happiness and contentment, embedded in the timeless language of music. Freddie Spells invites you to immerse yourself in his music and explore the world of his sound creations.
